My Messenger, my Master, Ahmad Muhammad ibn Abdullah,
the truthful and trusted one from the Lord of the earth and the heavens,
came with light, mercy, and guidance.
A Messenger from Allah came, and we did not see him,
yet we believed in what he brought.
This is my Messenger who came from Allah,
and he is the Seal of all the Prophets.
O Lord, may I meet him in a dream,
and may my eyes be delighted by seeing him.
My Messenger, my Master, Ahmad Muhammad ibn Abdullah,
the truthful and trusted one from the Lord of the earth and the heavens.
O Lord, when will You make it easy for me to see him in sleep?
O Lord, O Most Generous, make it easy for me to see him every day and every moment,
O Lord of all the worlds.
O Lord of everything, You are the Originator and the Restorer,
make it easy for me to visit him in Madinah,
O You whose command is between Kaf and Nun.
And in sleep may I meet him, and may my wish be fulfilled through seeing him.
O you whose vision in sleep is permissible,
with neither Satan nor illusion veiling him,
and in sleep may I meet him and rejoice in him and in seeing him.
That Messenger of perfect qualities,
his origin is light from light,
his beauty surpasses all descriptions,
his face is seen even in the darkness.
That one constantly occupies my thoughts,
and, God willing, through him my eyes shall be gladdened.
That Messenger whom we have not seen,
yet we have believed in him.
That one is in my thoughts every day,
every hour and every moment,
always occupying my thoughts.
That Messenger in whom we believed and in whom we placed our faith,
and besides him we loved no other.
All of him is mercy and refinement,
he is the one who occupies me,
and his love dwells in my heart,
and I have no love for anyone else in my heart.
My intercessor on the Day of Gathering,
the day of fear, shame, crowds, and hardship,
and through him comes salvation,
and the drink shall be from his hand on the day of hunger and thirst.
And I, God willing, Muayyad, shall drink from his hand,
and everyone whom he knows, whether near or far,
and his family and his companions,
and everyone who knows him even though he does not know them.
He is the ship of my salvation from terrors and trials.
O Messenger of Allah, through you are our hopes attached,
and for you we have longed.
A glance from you, my Master.
My Master, we have come to your door,
and every door besides yours is closed.
O our means to Allah,
O our means to Allah,
O our means to Allah,
may we be gathered beneath your banner along with all the Muslims.
And in my conclusion,
may the prayers of Allah and His salutations be upon you,
as numerous as all that has been and all that shall be.
